So I received a letter from one of our favorite people, Nancy Pelosi. Political solicitations this time of year don’t surprise me but I did see items in this letter that made me pause. Let me also say that in most ways I am a moderate with conservative leanings – that means I don’t buy into conspiracy stuff or most of what is put out into the political arena as rhetoric. However, as I said before, this made me stop and consider given it comes “from the horses mouth”.

In the Survey, Nancy refers to herself as “Leader Pelosi”. Mental picture was Russia, China or North Korea… I would think that someone at her level would not make that gaff.

Second, the “gun questions” I’ve seen before – no surprises. But the third question regarding expanding mental health services in this context is concerning. It reminded me of the “re-education” camps in Russia, China and North Korea.

Last, was the focus on the House of Representatives in the DNC letter. It made me think that liberals are viewing this administration and the next 2 years and 10 months as their best chance to get a very radical agenda pushed through. Extreme positions like this really do make me concerned for the cohesiveness of our nation and wonder about the people that would elect such a person.

Aww geez.

I would have put an orange dot on it, fired a group, and sent it back to them.

Assuming the letter is genuine, I notice how the letter seperates the Tea Party from the Republican party, and insinuates gun control would pass if not for the Tea Party.

Who gets these letters?

My mother is elderly and made the unfortunate choice of giving contributions to a few political and religious organizations that sent her solicitations. She is now on an unbelievable number of mailing lists and there are days you would have to have a grocery bag to empty our mail box. Because my wife and I are her primary care givers, it now seems we are also getting on a few of those lists. Hence the letter you see above that came to us. It is real. I still have the doc. I just blacked out the name and “Survey Number”.

If one of those surveys were to show up in my mailbox,I would
kindly return it to the DNC.

With a very heartfelt "Please go F#%& Yourselves"
written in black marker across it.

You get the government you deserve, people like Pelosi have ruined California and want to ruin the rest of the country too.

Exactly, that is why Obama campaign advisers are working on Wendy Davis' campaign. They would love to turn Texas liberal with the likes of Pelosi, Feinstein and Harry Reid. In this case, a clone of Pelosi as in Wendy Davis. A lot of folks tell me, "That won't happen in Texas". Just take a look at Colorado, they were much like Texas in their thinking just a few short years ago. Now they have 10-round mag limits and legalized pot... How messed up is that?

Well, Davis did win the Dem. nomination in the primary.
