This is what came to the corn. This is a very remote spot on Ft Hood. Can't wait to see what else comes to the corn. Might even go out and try to kill a pig in a day or two. Young buck with some potential  Nice buck who hopefully stays around for next bow season. Also anyone wanna guess on age and inside spread?    Little ole piggy

Looks like a good spot for a tree stand Def some good trees for tree stands and some nice cover for a ground blind as well.

Sapper,I'm guessing that that bigger buck is pretty old. After all, around here the bucks don't get much bigger than that. I've only seen a couple that size or bigger and I've been here since 96'.

Sapper,I'm guessing that that bigger buck is pretty old. After all, around here the bucks don't get much bigger than that. I've only seen a couple that size or bigger and I've been here since 96'. There are some huge bucks around Ft Hood and surrounding areas you just gotta know where to look. Here are a few examples. First 3 pics are behind my house in Killeen on city property.    And this one I found on Ft Hood close to where I got the trail cam pics I posted

Coyotes got the last one? While I was home on leave, I saw 3 dead yotes off Clear Creek near Elms rd.

Idk how the last one died but he had been dead for a while when I found him. Prob a bad shot and hunter didn't recover him or something

Congrats on your scouting, it looks like its paid off. Nice lookin buck. I would guess the age to be about 5.5. That hog needs an arrow thru it.
