 1st Pig on New Lease

Just obtained a new lease, and took the wife and kids out yesterday to show them around. Wife spotted 10-12 hogs in a lower bottom through the timber, and my son and I stalked to within 400 yards. I got in a prone position resting on a fallen log, and shot this sow behind the shoulder at 400 yards with the 22-250. She ran about 70 yards, and went down. She looked like she was getting up so I fired another round which struck her low in the ham. The bullet just grazed her without hitting the bone or messing up any of the meat. We drove out to her, and I finished her off with one behind the ear with the Glock .40. Dressed her out and have some more fine dining on ice.
