Hello,I recently got a lease a few miles north of Hamilton. We are very excited. The leon river runs through the middle of the property. Can anybody tell me what to expect for the area

Good deer country around there. Probably a good number of pigs as well. You should be good to go.

My cousin has property on the Leon east of you, between Hamilton and Jonesboro and if you like to catfish, you won't be disappointed.

should have deer, hogs(lots o hogs), turkey and ducks. Don't forget the fishing pole, some good fishing in the Leon.

Our place is just south of gatesville right where the leon opens up to lake Belton. Expect a lot of deer, turkey, duck, dove and just a lot of wildlife really. Pretty decent catfish ing as well if you're into it.
