Made use of some old tires I found dumped on edge of my property and made a poor mans shed trap. Anybody else use this method?

You must be short on hogs and coons.

Bet it will work great if you can keep the feed in it. We use net wire in a circle and put cotton seed in it. Works pretty well for us

Good idea to try. Sure beats walking fence lines.

Make sure and take a picture of the sheds laying there when you walk up to it next time.
If ducks had horns I'd probably be a duck hunter. I am a horrible deer hunter. Probably the worst. Ever.

Looks like your hoping for a wide brute... You know what a good cure for a wide brute is? A Remington. Nice. I just put this out yest and will report back positive or negative. Bucks are starting to drop in my area and if the feed last long enough maybe I'll get lucky. I used hog panels bent into a zigzag before and collected a few but read some posts about deer damaging their pedicles if they got caught in the panel before they were ready to drop. Also heard of bucks getting locked onto the panel and dying -- something I don't won't to risk happening to some of the nicer bucks.
