I really liked the look of the knife the first time Jeff posted it. He was kind enough to sell me one of his Popcorn blades and ship it to me. The heat treat finish looks good and the balance of the blade is superb. I chose to go with Lava flow Kirinite and mosaic pins in lieu of bolts and G10 scales he usually uses. This one may well become my EDC. In short, I think Jeff and the designer Matt Helm really hit a homerun with this design and production. Thanks again, Jeff.

Man, that looks great! But I have to ask...what is Kirinite? And that's a tough looking blade. Again, sweet looking knife!

Man, that looks great! But I have to ask...what is Kirinite? And that's a tough looking blade. Again, sweet looking knife! Thanks for the kind words all, but Jeff and Matt are the brains and business side of this knife. Kirinite is an acrylic based material that can be made in countless numbers of colors and styles. It's very tough and resistant to wear. I just really like the look of lava flow and thought it fit the Popcorn knife pretty well.
