Looking for scope ideas for a M1A, had trouble with scopes before holding their zero. Has anyone had success with a specific model? not really wanting to spend 1k or anything like that. Would only be used for 100 yard shots or so at hogs.

SWFA's SS scopes are tough as nails. Check the Sample List for a 3-9X.

I've got a 3-15 FFP mil/mil weaver on my M1A and its working great. The only thing i dont like is the lack of 1/2 mil subtension between the center cross hair and the 1 mil mark. Not a huge deal though.

Lots of good scopes... not many good mounting options due to inconsistency of receiver tolerances. If you can find a mount that will stay tight on your rifle, any reputable optic will work.
