Picked up a new toy this weekend,Rem 700 LTR 20" barrel in 308. Got a chance to shoot it Sunday morning, wind was not to bad. Pretty happy with the SSA 175s, both are three shot groups. Can't wait till next weekend to see what she will do. [img]http://[/img]

They are shooters for sure. I have one that shoots ragged holes with the heavy stock trigger. Gonna get a drop-in soon and work up some loads. Looking forward to that

They are good shooters for sure
I bought one about 5 years ago after shooting my buddies.
If you handload I can give you a few loads that shoot one hole groups out of both of ours.

I love mine!

Had a 308 LTR and sold it. Regret it every day! Probably one of the best close quarters in the stand bolt guns going.

I have a 700 varmint model and it shoots great as well. I've always wondered why people say Remington factory barrels are trash. I've seen quite a few 700 police, tactical and varmint models shoot sub MOA all day.

I have one as well. It is amazing how well the rifle balances with the slightly fluted barrel. I didn't realize that until I picked up an AAC that felt terribly front heavy. The HS stock has a nice pad on it and the grip is much more comfortable than the standard police stock.

I got into loading for my but gold medal match shoots one whole groups so its hard to justify getting back into loading for it. Especially wih no Varget in north texas.
