it's not tactical black, there are no tactical cargo pockets in the grips, and it's a sig "1911". That's 3 strikes right there.

So it's a Typical Sig 1911 with markings from 5.11? I'm with Scary... with out somekind of uglypockets or molly loops its not really worth it stir

What's the point of a flat trigger?

Aside from the grips, bobtail, and black trigger; it pretty much looks like a Scorpion to me.

Scorpion is a railed model. It's more along the lines of the Desert model.

The Scorpion is actually available with or without rails.

Regarding this 5.11, where do you attach your cell phone, car keys and other ninja gear?

I am so "unhip" I had to Google 5.11. Maybe they will make a "Game Winner" model for us who shop bargains at Academy!

Aside from the logos and engraving, I kind of like it. That said, I'm sure they're pretty proud of them, and I'd almost assuredly not pay what they want for them.

I like it but probably WAY beyond the capability of my pocketbook!

They should have done a Hi-Tec, or LA Gear version.

Like the colors and features, but could do without 5.11 branding.

please feel free to correct me for those out there that may be more educated on the matter but my understanding is that the flat trigger is intended to provide more of a consistent "feel" across the entire length of the trigger than the standard curved trigger. I myself have shot a buddies a couple of times and did not care for it much.

Hey, don't hate. I've got a UTG bipod on a .22 that has been great.

The flat trigger was required to have enough space for another logo. grin

I'm not hating. I actually have a UTG bipod as well. I'm more poking fun at the couch commandos who buy the drop in quad rail, bipod, cheap red dot, flash light, and all the other picatinny tactical doodads and will maybe shoot less than 100rnds a year and never use a single one of those accessories.

UTG/NCStar do actually make some decent products but there are some that are just horrible. Also, I think its a little different than some people who buy these products, this goes for more expensive brands as well, and never actually use them. Like you I use my bipod and it works great.

I digress.
