Fellow THFer THEBBC does cerakote and run an add here about it. I have been wanting to KOTE one of my guns for a while so I decided to pull the trigger on it. He did my recievers and my 15" MI ss gen2. I am just waiting on my barrel so I can complete the build. Also I caused the few little scuffs you see in the pic. Most should rub out nicely.   I will post more pics when I complete it.

Creeper...I agree. It looks so much better than FDE. I do like FDE for the furnature as I have built 2 rifles like that but this is much better for the metal.
TAN....YES another 6.8. For now this will be as a pistol but when I finally start my SBR and get the stamp back I will use other recivers and put a full length bbl on this set. I have one of the last run of KoTonics barrels in 12.5" which was hand lapped and gauged by Tim himself to make sure it was in spec.
Oh yeah....and the barrel is un-fired. Needless to say I am very excited to get it up and running.
The downside is the MI SS15 that got coated too will be to long for the 12.5" bbl so the tube will have to set in the safe till a later date, unless I come across another 16" ARP.
I could always just put my 16" lw 556 bbl on it too. To dang many decisions.
