Hello, I have been lurking for the last couple of weeks and have finally worked up the nerve to post. After sitting out for the last 12 years, I got back into hunting this season and officially have the itch. I grew up hunting in North Louisiana and was lucky to see a couple of deer in one season. I made two hunts in Texas this year, one in Sonora and one in Waelder. After being lucky to see a few deer per season, I was quite spoiled on both trips this year.

I was blessed with the opportunity to make a hunt with clients at the 4D Guest Ranch. Everything about this place was top notch. The guides, staff, accommodations, and especially the animals were superb. We ate like kings and I can't wait until next year to go back.

Below I am pictured with my stag that I took. We had three stags taken that weekend and mine was the only one with the light colored horns. Do you believe that he simply just rubbed his horns to this color? Also, would anyone be able to guess on a possible score range? He had a broken tine on his right side which would have made him an 8X7.
