Thought I would share a few second split pics, pretty sure I have not posted any of these... Really missing my boat, every other day or so I go crank it up lol. Open morning, poring down rain, was glad not to get struck by lighting, 1 duck we headed home....     Pic below got an old friend out, we been friends since 4th grade, 42 years... He was a big duck hunter when Raybob was first made, he tried to get me to duck hunt back then I was never interested, I didn't know what I was missing. Now I'm always trying to get him out, we did it once this year glad we were able to smack'm..

Some absolutely terrific pics, Guy. Memories for a lifetime.
Just as a suggestion ... I never allowed Cappy or Remi to pick up dekes although they would have obligingly done so. Ask your vet, a significant number of Lab's broken teeth that they see are as a result of doing that or something similar.
Cappy ... At my side for thirteen years, in my heart forever.

if your dog has a hard enough mouth to break a tooth on a decoy you have issues. All retrieving needs to be stopped and go back through a structured force fetch program.
Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

I talked to my vet, he said only CBRs you have to worry about, their teeth are weak. They are so used to biting people that are soft, they that their teeth are not used to something hard like a deek.  This is not the first time you have told me this Cappy. I think the likely hood of her chipping a tooth on the plastic deeks is very very very small. I'm more worried about her chipping the paint off my deeks. It is extremely convenient to let her get the deep water deeks, below is a video Ryan recorded on that same day. She retrieved about 15 deeks that day that Ryan could not get to, I did not even wear waders or mud boots that day. And Molly no vest, I bet Jeff was all neoprened up.

That is my son in the middle sound asleep. It was slow, no wind in the morning. Wind picked up a little later and we had a few groups cup-up and come in, glad they got to see some action, they all shot a duck or 2.
