All this cold. Which means its time to head back to Florida for some more hog hunting while I am there. This time will hit up tiger Island Hog Hunting. 200.00 for 3 hogs not a bad price. Which includes quartering.

This is the place I am hunting on Friday in Florida. 75, for one hog 150 for two and 200 for 3 hogs. Skinned and quartered with a guide. not that you need a guide but. While on vacation I think it will be a lot of fun.

I love reading about Florida hogs and wanted to show a few pictures. My family has about 240 acres and I pig hunt every time I visit. Hogs are plentiful, but here's a few pictures from the last visit. Hogs showed up after 4 minutes sitting in stand. I have around three feeders/stands but the peanut farm is feeder enough. Little guy taken with bolt action 5.56, through the lungs, had to track about 50 yards, momma sow taken with bolt action 30-06, DRT.

Was a GREAT HUNT today at Tiger Island Hog Hunts in Florida! Was a brisk morning for Florida started at 50 degrees haha. Before the sun was even up the hogs were out however I do not have a scope on my shotgun so was too dark to take a shot without the scope lighting it up.

The first group that came by was all small hogs so I held off. About 45 mins later another group came by with a nice size female (the black one in the picture). So I took her at about 50 yards. After her I decided to keep going, but none of the group came back so I left the stand for a spot and stalk. Was not long before a spotted a nice group. Every time I got within 60 yards they bolted. About an hour of stalking I finally came on a 50 yard shot on the brown one in the picture. Was a great hunt! The black female was 130lbs and the brown male was 110 lbs.

Those Florida hogs sure look pretty and clean. Congrats.

This picture was taken after I washed them down with the hose.. But they were not that dirty until they were dragged through the sand.

The Male (the brown one) smelled like a hog, but after some work and icing down for a few days should help draw out that bad blood. The Black female had no smell at all and I am excited to grill her up!

The guys at this outfit know how to run a great place and was very happy with the service and layout. It was also nice to see BIG turkey running around as well. Too bad it's not turkey season!

Congrats! Looks like fun. Sure beats stalking them squirrelies!
