We are looking for 3 experienced management minded hunters to join our group. I lease 2 pastures for a total of 1300 acres. One is 800 acres and one is 500 acres and are next too each other. Both places have year round water. Creeks and ponds. These spots are for the 800 acre north pasture but can hunt both with stand owners permission. You can place up to 2 blinds and plenty of good areas available. There will be a total of 8 guns on the 1300 acres. This ranch is part of a 10000 acre ranch and we do have cattle but usually not during season. We feed corn year round and must feed protein from feb-sep. this ranch is mld 3 so there is very strict management guidelines. Our trophys must be 5.5+ years old. If you expect to kill a trophy every year this place isn't for you. We focus on culls and are trying to let our doe population rebuild, however we have laid off them for 3 years now so this coming season we expect higher numbers. This is not a freezer filler lease. Our group ranges from 30-50 year old men. Also there is electricity but at this moment water isn't available due to a leak but we are trying to resolve that. We also have a house with an open room or you can bring a trailer.
Please pm me or respond with any questions.

Price with house and elec included is $2100 year
Price with elec and you bring camper is $1850 year

Thanks

This is not a first come first serve type lease. We are looking for a good fit for our mgmt program and group. Also we would prefer all 3 spots to be filled by 1 group versus individuals but will consider for the right folks.

How is the turkey population out there. Also what are the rules as far as family. We just lost our lease and have a group of guys ready to travel. Our group would consist of Brother in law, Father, And myself plus wife and kids. Is this lease kid friendly? Also do you have any pics?

thanks

Turkey population is very good and yes immediately family is allowed. I can not post pics on here but if you pm me a cell # or an email ill send pics. Last year we took 2- 10 points, 1- 8 point and a cull 6 point and a few does and countless pigs. We passed on many 4.5-5 year old bucks so this years crop should be good. Best part of this ranch is all 10k acres is on the same mgmt plan along with several surrounding ranches.

All Pms returned so far. One popular questions is guest policy. Immediate family is welcome only. If family members hunt they must hunt with you only and are not allowed to hunt solo unless they are pig hunting only. We encourage kids as most members bring there youngens.

2 spots spoken for. 1 spot still available. I will be calling interested solo hunters shortly or feel free to call me at number listed above. Keep in mind guys that we are kid and family friendly but this is a serious management lease with strict harvest guidelines and might not be the best place to introduce kids to hunting whitetails unless you are comfortable telling them no quite often. However there is plenty of pigs to keep them happy. We pass on many really nice 4.5-5 year old 8 and 10 pointers to let them reach full potential and that is really tough for a lot of folks to do and even tougher telling a youngster no but rules are rules. Please be sure this is for you.

With all the hunters looking and they probably have jobs and families it might take a coupla four days to work through everything.

I apologize I haven't gotten back to you yet. Between work and the instant duties as a father of twins when I get home from work its been tough keeping up with all the calls and Pms. An average call to discuss the place takes around 45 minutes to properly discuss in detail so with over 50 requests to discuss the place I can only move so fast. Again.. My apologies and will be in touch with you tomorrow.

As of now I have 2-3 guys wanting to view the place Sunday will update everyone Monday with a status. Thanks to all have shown interest and look forward to meeting some of ya.
