Evening all. Pretty new here but been hunting all my life. Me and a few work buddies are real close to closing a 400 acre lease 25 miles north of Brady close to the Colorado river. Land hasn't been hunted in a few years and looks promising from google earth. Ive hunted all my life in west Texas and Oklahoma but never down south. Any info out there or experience from this area would be very helpful. Were getting a good deal and were going to look at it monday before we pull the trigger. Thanks a million in advance.

Lots of deer and tons of turkey. No hogs in that area when I hunted there years ago. I'm sure it's probably covered up in them these days.

Love that area, good luck with it

Update: We went and walked the place for almost 2 hours and saw TONS of deer tracks, bunch of ducks, dove seem plentiful, coyotes, and some pig activity. Scoped out 4 really good blind and feeder spots and a large winter wheat field is really good. All and all the place was really really good. We jumped on it and got it secured! Going to be a good year! Thanks for all the info! cheers deer
