What tall tales and sayings have been passed down in your family.

My great uncle was known for telling others that he was "born in a log cabin in Mississippi that he built all by himself."

I'm sure there are others like me who truly cherish such things as part of their family legacy and culture. I feel safe saying that earlier generations did not take themselves as being always serious like so many today.

My father in law used to say: "I'm not saying Anna (his mother, my grandmother inlaw) is old, but she was Methuselah's babysitter"

CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE FOR TOMORROW. INVEST IN TOMORROW BY TAKING A CHILD HUNTING OR FISHING TODAY.

My dad was born "so far back in the swamps they had to pipe in daylight."
