Does anyone know where I can get a cylinder for a 460 XVR?

Probably only S&W, unless you get one custom made.

I have looked around and not had very good luck finding one, not even though S&W. I was going to use it for a pen holder. Might just have one machined

That would be pretty cool... but expensive. A machinist/gunsmith could do it for you, but man it'd cost you if you really wanted it finished nice. frown

Because I want one....I would like to have one for shooting the 454's and the 45LC's and one for the 460's. If you shoot to many of the shorter casings it tends to mark the interior of the cylinder wall causing the 460's to hang up sometimes.

I agree that S&W is likely the only place you'll get one.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but you'd probably be better served by chucking a 45cal nylon/bronze brush up into a drill and cleaning out the carbon deposits every once in a while. I imagine it would be a whole heck of a lot cheaper than a new cylinder (if they'll even sell you one)
