Boiled crawfish is our tradition, but it's not happening this year. Too cold.
Will probably do hot wings.

I usually fire up the pit and do an assortment of stuff including ribs, hamburgers but with a twist in that I use hot italian sausage made into patties, chicken leg/thigh quarters and of course armadillo eggs (jalepenos stuffed with sausage/cream cheese/finely chopped onion wrapped in bacon with a drizzle of homemade BBQ dipping sauce).
I also will do corn on the cob (husk on, soaked in water, 8-9 minutes rotate 1/4 turn, repeat for all 4 sides) or (husk off, clean, wrap in aluminum foil with a little butter & spices, 8-9 minutes rotate 1/4 turn, repeat for all for sides).
I also take a whole sweet onion and use an apple corer/slicer (like an awesome blossum), open up a bit & place in aluminum foil formed bowl, sprinkle spices (pepper, paprika, garlic powder, fine grind dried mustard seed, etc.) down into slices, a splash of worcestershire sauce and a little butter, put on hotter area of pit until onion starts to turn translucent.

HEB has baby back ribs on sale for $1.77 per pound. They do well in the oven or on the smoker.

Yeah you can't go wrong with wings. I prefer to make my own chicken wings. Fried, smoked, grilled? Sauce? Do tell HP I'll either bake or deep fry'em. As far as sauce goes it ranges. Sometimes I will just do a lemon pepper seasoning or if I want a spicey dry rub I will use Gator Breath. Other times I will use a store bought buffalo sauce with a blue cheese dip.
Iv got hogs an can show you a good time.

I'm more of a muncher.
I like a tray of cold cuts, with venision summer sausage and sharp cheddar cheese always out in force. With some crackers, like Sociables and Wheat Thins, I'm usually good for the whole game. I don't drink a lot of beer, but since I prefer heavy dark beers high in alcohol, I'll probably toss down a couple Spaten Optimators (or 3).
Life is good, no matter the outcome of the SB.
