how does the tourney work? Is there a big piece of land everyone hunts or do you have to be a local with your own place to hunt? I am from college station so I dont have land up there.

You have to have property of your own to hunt. You have to follow state regulated hunting laws. But are able to hunt anywhere in the state as long as you make it to the weigh in by 11:00 am on Sunday.

we've been doing these hunts the last 3-4 years now. And I figure we may have 15-20 teams just depends. I believe the biggest hunt we've had was 26 teams.

Dang, I love the coons. Gives you something to do if the night calling is slow.

Had a some teams saying that, that wasn't part of a calling contest but we can take a vote as a group at weigh in and they can be added back if its majority!!!

Maybe some teams need to get them a raccoon call and make it part of a calling contest. We will be there ready to go coons or no coons.

I will give my opinion first. I don't mind adding them back because I understand the slow nights of calling and having something to go do if you don't like to sleep like me. But if I add them back my opinion is to make them 1 point a piece!!!

Is it from 6am Saturday to 11am Sunday? Or is it 26 hours?

We'll probably be there.

Doesn't matter about the coons either way to us.
