Does anyone have any experience with them that they would like to pass on?

Thanks

I've got a Pelican 45 quart, and I've been real happy with it. Anything specific you'd like to know?

There were several factors to me buying this cooler over the other high dollar brands.

I like the latching mechanism better than the rubber straps, a lot of people complained that the rubber straps only work well if you're directly in front of the unit.
I like the non-slip feet. I can set this on a flat deck trailer and it'll be in just about the exact same spot when I get to where I'm going. No worrying about sliding across the deck and hitting the rail like some of the others.
I like the solid handles better than the rope handles, personal preference, I guess, but to me the rope handles look and feel cheap.
I like that it's made in the USA, not just assembled here.
I like the price. They don't have to inflate the price to make up for giving one to every hunting/fishing/off road television show they can in order to get publicity.
And mostly, I like the lifetime warranty. If I'm going to shell out this kind of cash on a cooler, I want one that the manufacturer will stand behind.

Realistically, all the "high dollar" coolers are about the same, performance wise. The warranty is what really set it off for me.

Oh, and I filled it on the way to my deer lease on a Friday, and dumped out about half the ice when I left Sunday afternoon. 90 degree days where the cooler was in the sun from dawn until about 2 in the afternoon. It flat out works.

BTW, get ready for the Yeti/Brute/Canyon/etc fanboys to rush in full force to tell you why the Pelican sucks and the one they bought is better. You might as well ask who makes the better truck. LOL.

I have owned 2 yeti coolers and 1 pelican 65qt it is a nice cooler my only complaint was a cheap drain that I didn't like at all and the plastic isn't as rigid as a yeti for example when you strap it down using the holes in the lid the plastic warps causing the lid not to seal even when you don't cinch it down hard

My brother has one and I like a few things about it and don't like a few things. To me, it's all about personal preference. I don't like the handles on the Pelican, but I like the latches... I personally have a YETI cause I got a good deal on it. We also have a Brute. Overall, all three are good coolers.

This is not allowed. You have to pick one and then say all others are crap. Thats the rule

roflmao truf bombs. They're all good. I have a Yeti 75qt. Almost bought the Pelican but the dimensions for the yeti were better for my boat. Buddy has the Pelican, he loves it, I've used it too and its fine.

Looks like this did not happen. Seems like people are actually pretty even handed with the comparisons between the roto molded coolers.

I agree with the people above that said they are all good. It really just comes down to which one has the features you like most for the price. They are all expensive but you can find deals on some at times.

We're based in Keller, TX if any of you are ever interested in checking out our ice chests in person. Our coolers are Made in USA and include a few features that some of the other manufacturers don't offer like custom lid graphics, dual drain plugs, built-in ruler, etc. There are several options out there for rotomolded coolers but we'd appreciate it if you gave us a look as well.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I have both and the Pelican hold Ice longer......the con is its heavy and hard to move by yourself. I have a 65qt pelican and it heavier than my 120qt yeti.

I have a pelican and yeti and they both have pros and cons. I have loaned them both out to family and they had no complaints about either, they were surprised about how well both held ice

I have both pelican and yeti. Both are great coolers but I prefer the yeti.
