I haven't been on this forum recently but figured I would post my biggest hog to date. He wasn't that thick but had a huge head and perfect cutters. I went hunting with a buddy at his blind out near Newcastle to get a doe. We got to the blind before the feeders went off but it was windy as hell. The deer weren't in the numbers that they usually are. Finally we had one doe come out between to nub bucks. I ranged the doe at 213 yards and dialed up and sent a head shot. She fell in her tracks. I waited 15 mins and climbed down and drug it off to the side of the sendero. It was about 40 mins later when the big boar showed up behind the far feeder at 315 yards. I shot him in the neck. He dropped and was spinning so I put another right thru his chest which exited out of his back. Big ole dead pig at that point. The head is going to be euroed.

What rig you using ?

The rifle is a custom built Rem 700 sa. Chambered in 7mm08. It has a 17" rock creek 8.5 twist fluted barrel. Manners t6 stock along with some other goodies. I shoot 168 berger vld hunting classics at 2525fps. This rifle shoots tiny groups .25 moa easily. It was built by Tony Bryce in Anna. I have a 26" version of this rifle that shoots 162amax at 2777fps avg. Tony also built that rifle and it shoots just as good. I love the dang 708 with heavy bullets.
