I bet i didn't hear two or three wood ducks all season. Never saw one.
I usually kill a few strays. Anybody else notice a lack of woodies?

Nope! We counted 97 birds 15 minutes fly over the back yard the other day. Each group was tree top high using the river as a guide.

Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

We had a pretty good year as far as wood ducks go - except my neighbor, who can't seem to shoot a wood duck if it lands in his lap. He has several mounts but can't close the deal.

I guess the answer to the question is Lamar County. Shot 2 last year and shot 42 this year. Had maybe 200 using a 3 acre pond as a roost that never held ducks in the past. Very cool sight right around 5:45.

I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

They roosted in small tank behind the house from mid December on.... I watched them come in right at dark and could hear them on the water. Saw a lot in the river bottoms where we hunt. Normal year here.

We didn't have typical woodies #'s either. SE of you a/b 90 miles. Very strange to see so few in our area.

I think woodies were pretty much all I saw this year, and GWT everywhere.
