With the anticipation of the lift on the permits we are offering THREE hunts for Scimitar Oryx. With that stated and the waiting period I believe April and May to be about the right time to begin the hunts. The ranch has a well established herd. Last count there were two herds with about 60 Oryx. The hunt will be in the 4,800 acre high fence of the ranch. Most of the bulls and cows have on average 30 to 40 inch horns. There are some that will top over 40". The ranch has a very nice lodge and accommodations such as walk in cooler, satellite TV, kitchen, etc. We have only taken TWO Oryx, one was a cull cow and a trophy bull. Lodging-yes included in the price. No food or drinks are included
Size limitations/restrictions-NO, you pull the trigger on the best one YOU see. There is no added fee for inches etc.
Guarantee-YES,I promise to put you on the Oryx and it is up to you to make the shot. Anticipate VERY long shots! These animals are extremely skittish and bolt quickly. A good flat upper caliber rifle is recommended. If we/I do not put you on an Oryx you come back at a later date to get one! Please note any wound is a considered a kill

Method of hunt-High rack, as they do not come to feeders and seem to stay on the upper rims of the canyons.

When you say very long shots what kind if distance are we talking about?

Out to 400 yards would be the norm.
