About 1hour 35 minutes from driveway to gate most times, with heavy traffic gets closer to 1hour 45. Try to go about every other weekend during deer season and stay the night either in hotel for the weekend or truck for single night. made a few day trips during what I thought would be good times this season and got my son's buck on one of those spur-of-the-moment trips.

Just signed a second lease 15 minutes gate to gate from my first one (and just across county line
so that means potentially two trophy bucks next season woot ). Will probably go no more frequently although might find myself going more frequently this coming season, we'll see how the wifey handles it.

300 miles go every other week for a week. Or sit on my porch.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Drive is 3.5 hrs from home to lease. Off season will visit lease every month to check feeders, trailer, etc. During season will hunt Archery for 2-3 weeks, and gun will be at lease from 30-45 days. Being retired it gives me something to look forward to. Enjoy the time in Brown county and have good guys on the lease to hunt with.

I hunt two leases and both are around 40 miles away. I also hunt a lot of public land and out of stand land.

I have one that butts up to my back yard and would love to get on it. Have tried for the last three years to get on it but the guy running it seems to be giving me a runaround about it. Guess he don't want me on there for some reason. Would be nice. There is 14000 aceres of woods back there calling my name while I'm home.
