Not sure where to post this, but what works best for keeping mice out of camper at the hunting ranch? Tried the dryer sheets and doesn't work at all. Any ideas that work before my wife freaks out???

A rat snake from the pet store in the camper?
up

All food stored in sealed plastic containers and Decon bait left out works for me.

We had a bad problem. Glue traps with a little cheese or peanut butter on them help. Barn cats was the main help. Got 2of them and mice went away

You can't fix stupid

We use black and decker electronic mice repellent. It puts out a noise only the mice can hear, seems to work ok. Plus its a no mess solution. Poison also works. I dont use the glue traps anymore. You may catch something you dont want caught.. like slithery friends who eat mice.. then if your only there a few weekends of the year it may deteriorate into your floor.. really fun to clean.

We use these plug in deterents as well. They work pretty good. You'll still get visitors but they won't make a home in there. Poison and glue boards can cause a pewtrid odor that will make you gag and hangs around for quite a while.

I keep several of the old fashioned spring traps active during season. I'll be down there every week or two to check on them. Another hunter in our camp keeps the rat poison out all the time. His trailer is mice free. But he does get the occasional smell of a dead mouse that died in a spot you can't find. I've tried to rid them, and you can't. You just have to manage them with traps and bait.

After every trip we place bait under and around the camper. We have never, and I hold my breath, had a mice or rodent problem.

Fox urine. A few drops around the camper should keep most small rodents away. It used to be a staple at old hardware stores.

Going to try both fox urine and electronic repellant. If they weren't building nest out of my insulation, it wouldn't be bad

We just live with them. We have camper with no mice and I always pick that one. I will be staying there tomorrow night. I hate them. We have even bigger under them. Rats... Can never catch the mice even with bait. Well we caught one in a bag and threw it out of the camper. Lol.

Peppermint oil will keep them out. Mix a 15:1 rubbing alcohol/peppermint oil solution and spray the exterior, underneath, and interior baseboards. They will not penetrate the peppermint oil, it hurts their little noses and it will keep the camper smelling fresh.

I have piles of poison under my camper and a few traps. They never get inside.

Looking for a new lease in the 2016/17 hunting season in South Texas or Edwards Plateau. It would be three people that are family members that have been hunting together for years.

I put poison boxes under my camper. I use boxes so nothing else will get into it and it also keeps it from getting wet. It has worked well for me. No more mice in or around my camper.

We put some of the small trays of poison pellets under the trailer on Saturday night and when we got up Sunday morning, there were the blue poison pellets in several places inside the trailer including a bed. We were quiet surprised. Just hoping one don't die inside the trailer where we cannot get to it. Plan on putting some repellant underneath next time we go down.

Our TT was parked in a field for years and now stays at the ranch. We have never had a mouse in there that I know of, and no droppings.

We use moth balls and Dcon bait under the trailer along with the electronic plugins inside the camper. No real issues. A few mice here and there but nothing that makes a huge mess.

We used rat and mice poison, but occasionally had a stinking trailer.

The most effective method to keep mice away....KEEP A RADIO ON IN YOUR CAMPER WHILE YOU'RE AWAY.
A rancher told me that years ago, and it has worked for me ever since!
