Killed this pterodactyl in South Dakota last year and just now got time to go pick it up...my ears are ringing just sitting under it...he's not mounted...someone has trained this monster to hold that pose...I swear I saw him blink a minute ago.

Still got some feather zipping to do...I roughed him bouncing him halfway across the state this weekend but I couldn't wait to show him off!

That is a ridiculous goose mount! I have a friend that mounts my birds in his garage too. I went to South Dakota this year in November for pheasant, sharptail grouse and prairie chickens. We got into all of them pretty good and it was the best hunt I've ever been on. But next year it'll be even better because with the ridiculous amount of Canadians and ducks we saw while up there, well over 15,000, we are going for them. My friend that does my mounts in his garage, is doing a dead mount of a HUGE rooster, a nice sharptail and a trophy prairie chicken. It's going to be awesome. If it all turns out like we hope (the pc is the kicker) it'll be one of a kind. But next year I will hopefully be bringing him a South Dakota Canadian like yours.

Hunted south of Pierre about 90 miles. Guided by a complete jacka$ out of Sioux Falls. He booked us then we hunted other places that he booked separately. Guy was a joke. Met some great folks though at the other lodges...lifelong friends. Went up there first week of January and wore the birds out again then had them down to Arkansas last week to shoot ducks.

I can't remember the goose guy's name...not the one we booked...the one that actually had birds. I'll track it down and shoot it to you.
