Wow!!! If everything you said is true (and I have no reason to doubt it) then they have really dropped the ball on this.
I would love to see them join in on this thread and tell us what the heck is going on. I would, too.

This hasn't been to the top recently. Maybe some more people should see it. Maybe they will question whether or not they really want to buy a S&W product.

Wow that sucks! I can't believe S&W is treating you like that. I had to contact them about a revolver I bought used that someone did a horrible trigger job on. It suffered from push off and the trigger binding up. I called S&W because no one else really wanted to work on it as it was a discontinued model. They told me to ship it in and they would look at it then let me know about repairs. Well I sent it in and waited to hear back from them. Finally got a call from UPS that they had a package for me and were going to send it back since no one was home to sign for it. (We were out of state for the holidays). When I found out who it was from I got a little panicky thinking they were shipping my pistol back. I called S&W and explained the issue. They immediately sent me over to the shipping manager who then called UPS and had the package re-routed to my brothers house in Arkansas where we were headed to next. They never asked me to pay for the repairs or even for the extra shipping. They included a list of what they fixed and I could not be happier on their customer service. I am really surprised they have not taken care of you.

It was several years ago. It sounds like they have gone downhill since then.
