Catch them on a fly rod? That is some good eating there.

Unfortunately not, just plain jane ultra light and some trout bait. It was still fun though!

I bet it was. Good catch there, I need to make time to head up north to do some fly fishing up there it has been too long.

I used to go once a year up to Tahoe, havnt gone in a while but we used to catch some nice browns and bows. Nothing like running down stream with a fly rod after a nice bow

I didn't know West Virginia was known for Fly Fishing. I thought it was all meth, moonshine, and tattoo parlors....

Ya aint punchy unless you caught that while you were horseback with chaps, spurs and a big felt on. And you can't fish for them, you rope them, dally and then take off. You'll know you caught a good one if it pulls your horse into the water! cowboy (all that was said in a Clint Eastwood or John Wayne voice, whichever you prefer)

Say When.....

Elk River??? And yes, they have meth and tattoo parlors also(like the other 49 states), moonshine is just a myth. I grew up catching trout over streams you could straddle with your feet. How many wild trout have you landed in Texas? And I did it without a LL Bean "tie your own" kit...

Went back today and limited in 20 minutes. 10 trout in the truck is better than 2 ducks in the blind!
