Mail the bolt to Kampfield custom rifles. Google search them, and you'll see their website. They do excellent work! They spiral fluted my 7mm barrel and shipped it back within 2 weeks.

Kampfield is one of the best in the business, if I was getting it done I would send it to him or PCR he does a kool looking vortex flute on them.

One thing to note. Keep some Q-tips handy if your rifles get filthy like mine do. Fluting a bolt cuts weight, and looks super cool, but the flutes may hold grime in them. They were designed to combat the frost that sets between bolt and action, but it's not really an issue in Texas. Still looks cool as can be, though.

I had sent mine to Kampfeld customs about 2-3 yrs ago. I also had one of his hunter bolt knobs put on. Total turnaround was just under 2 weeks. Great work. I had a couple questions about having my bolt done so I called and Mr. Feldkamp himself answered the phone and addressed my questions. Sorry for the crappy pic.

Kampfeld no doubt I have two custom built with flutes bolts and daughters rifle the bolt is flute as well with the custom knobs on all three.
