First, I found that my best tool for placeing an ejection port cover C-clip was a Kelly clamp, not a needle nosed pliers.

Second, that it is very easy to lose said c-clips. . . . it's gone.

Third, that my new pinned, LW 14.5 middy from BCM is noticably lighter and handier than my 16" standard profile barrel. smile

I can't wait to shoot it. Anyone know of a good place in Midland or Odessa to pick up another c clip? Thanks.

Maybe easier to find a magnet and run it around where you lost the C-clip.
I lost several detent balls and springs during M16 armorers class. We ended the day on the floor looking for said springs and balls. Magnet is very handy.

Found it!

I thought about magnets, but I don't have any ones handy. Thanks for the advise.
