Does anyone have any experience with the 17 hornet or the 17 hornet ackley? Just curious as what to expect. Was thinking on using it as a daytime calling round. Wouldnt be shooting 100 yards. Kindler says I can push his 21-25 grainers up to 3800 and should be deadly out to 200.

I have one in the 17 Hornady Hornet and it is a laser beam. It's my go to calling rifle and I love the round. The 17 Hornet has been around for a long time and I really can't think of a better fox or bobcat round. I shoot the 20 grain Nosler's out of mine and everything I have pointed it at has been drt.

Wow! It shoots pretty good. How do you like the model 25? Does it handle nice and smooth?

Ya the bolt isn't the smoothest but it functions fine and shoots really well. That group is from 150 yards.

You need to work on your technique. peep

Good shooting rifle, and a good driver behind it.

Thanks guys. I really have to admit though. It is mostly the rifle. Although now that I think about it all my ugly Savages shoot like that.
