Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

Good luck. I just got back a couple days ago. I was excited about the new limit as well. But the canadas moved out on us in Ok. Refuge counts went from about 50,000 to 5000 in a week. I then left KS a day early because the same thing happened there. Snows were everywhere though. With the freezeout over I do hope they move back in for you. And I hunt public, so private may be a whole different story. Be sure to give us a report. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4909074/

Going to hunt a friends pond that has in previous years had a ton of duck and geese. This is the first time to hunt it though and they have been slim. I'm going to try and call them in sat am then if there are birds I'm going to get the licensing that I need. Pumped either way!
Question on a related note, OK is wierd as far as licensing goes and finding info. I found the info for the adult non resident but my question is what is required for a 12 yr old youth?? Price??
She has all her stuff for here in TX.

I think a youth 16 years or younger just needs an OK state waterfowl permit.
Federal 16 years and older HIP permit 16 and older Non resident youth hunting license 14 years and older
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Where and with who are you hunting with? Great hunts!! Just buddies of mine that I've been hunting with since college and high school. We hunt all over OK. My grandad was a farmer and my buddies still live in OK so we have access to fields all over the state. A couple of the guys were sponsored hunters and did it for a living, now we all just hunt for fun. I try to go up at least once or twice a year sometimes more to hunt with them. Then hunt around DFW the rest of the year.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You're correct. Just called. For my 12 yr old its just $10. My wife also doesnt need a hunters safety. Sweet. Cheap hunting for kids there for sure.
