I need some better bullets, I'm currently shooting the Hornady 200gr red tipped bullets but need something more along the lines of a wad cutter or semi wad cutter. I've shot 2 pigs in the shoulder and both were not found after extensive searching, also no blood was found at the site of the hit. Can anybody recommend a good round for the gun?

One nice thing about shooting a .500 rather than a .460 is that all of the .500 bullets on the market are designed for the velocity of the .500. On the other hand, as a shooter of the .460, you have to deal with all of the totally unsuitable bullets designed for the .45 Colt. Are you looking for bullets or ammunition? In bullets, many like the Barnes X or the Swift A-Frame pistol bullets. In ammunition, I think it worth spending extra money for controlled expansion bullets.
I've been very happy with the admittedly limited experience that I've had with the Sierra 400 grain .500 bullet; but again, it's designed for the .500.

I'm looking for bullets, I have a lot of brass and a friend that reloads. Might have to go the 454 route

Why are you loading such a light bullet in the 460?
Why would you go the 454 route if you have a more powerful 460? Same caliber, same straight walled case just the 460 is longer with more powder capacity and hits harder if loaded right.

460 is pretty much a 454 on steroids. Have you tried going with the ultra heavy bullets? I use a 405gr .458 bullet I swage down to .452 and it shoots great.
