Hello everyone, I like get some suggestions or informations for buy a piece of hunting land in red river county or the land more closer to Dallas.
quesiton is, is that county have a lot of wildlife such as deers, hogs etc? I did some research on it, but still like to know the hunter's thought. I am looking the land under 100 acres, anyone know what's is the good price for a good hunting land over there around that size? actually, 35-100acres will be fine for me.
For the land, I like wooded, the water is plus. the big ranch near by is good too. Anything else do I need watch out?
Thank you guys.

Lots of deer in that area but IV never seen any monsters. There is a ton of hogs in Red River county as well. Just my .02 cents.

needle and a hay stack is the first thing that comes to mind, a lot of people are looking to do the same thing you are and its getting very hard to find land like that.
I look at lands of Texas (America) daily seams less and less to me every day. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find something great.

Have two different friends with leases in Red River county but neither has advised that the hunting it very good in fact it is terrible but at least it is close to the metro. One of their leases borders the Red River. Trespassing is evidently a big problem as they never leave anything at the lease after being broken into several times. Also they never leave out their games cams because they always get stolen. At least one of them is heading back west next year.
