Made this for my patio table. There are 1,231 Budweiser bottle tops. The one in the middle (un-crimped) came from the bottling plant in St. Louis when I was there in November. Kinda like Mecca, I guess. Went to Lynchburg, Tenn. last year.

Tried to point all of them to the center so it would look like a circle.

Each one was hot glued to a plywood base then poured epoxy.

Lot of work into that.. (and drinking).

I always wanted to do one of these. How does the epoxy work? And what type did you use?

The epoxy is just poured on. Just needs to be level and have a dam for the edges. I can't remember the name but I got it at Lowes. I think it was $62 a gal. Could have used 1.5 gal. but did not have a use for the remaining so I used it all.

That is cool. Mt wife wants to do something similar.

Why are the tops different color in the pattern?

The reason for the color difference is that the lighter ones were from what I, friends and family collected. The darker ones I got off Ebay. So I can only assume it has to do with what part of the country they came from.

That's extra cool. I like the pattern you made with the different shades of red. Good job, sir.
