We are open for biz-ness;)

We moved from the old cabin into this new one. We still have a fold-away couch we need to move into the place and a little more "decorating", but she's a LOT warmed in the winter and cooler in the summer than the old cabin!

B&B stands for Barnard & Barnard ranch

We decided ONE bunk bed with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa plus the 24x8 loft, and the old cabin with 3 bunk beds was more than enough so opted not to add another bunk bed.

ok..ok.. not a cabin.. but she's cute anyway wink My wife.. heh

A view from the front:

14 foot cedar post as a roof support.. also makes a great hat rack wink

The dining area

The kitchen Granite counters, stove, fridge, water cooler, sink.. all the luxuries of town

The spiral staircase goes to the 24'x8' loft which is all sleeping area. We have an extra 1-ton A/C unit up there and a window which we open along with the bathroom window to create a really nice breeze when needed.

We made these queen bunk beds. We tried to raise them for storage, but I liked my mattresses (vs foam) better so lowered mine wink

Russ

It needs a few pics but other than that it's a good post.

lol! we actually store it all under the back of the cabin, but we moved all the wood we PLANNED to use to make some monstrosity of beds (queens with bunks above them and then double twin bunks etc) inside, then opted not to make them as we could sleep an army already... we just have not moved it OUT yet :P
Now we plan to use that wood to make 2 10x20 guzzler / rainwater collection systems for the deer.

Alot of hard work coming to fruition. Y'all did a real nice job and I'm sure you will enjoy the heck out of it every time you stay there.

I enjoyed your build posts very much. Congrats on nearing the finish.

Thanks guys.. heh. We sure are enjoying it. We plan to have a lot more improvements over the next couple of years, to help make it even more comfortable as well as draw in more animals.

For some reason the pics didn't pop up on my work computer. Very nice. I think I would move in there.

oh hell yea, come on down;)

We have taken 2 Aoudad and a few Axis since you were down last wink

I have to replace the water pump next month.. the cold weather cracked it last week...but I have a new one, just waiting till it is a little warmer so we can set it up and then install some heat shields to avoid that next year.
