I have a hunt next month with Chalk Creek Exotics. I have hunted 4 different ranches over the past couple years and although I have yet to meet Mike in person or see the ranch yet, I wanted to share how helpful he has been. I booked a few months back and sent my deposit promptly. Before we settled on a date Mike was extremely helpful and took the time to answer any/all my questions. More important to me is that after I sent my deposit Mike went the extra mile to help and assure my hunt was a success on all levels (not just taking an animal). He has sent me emails with recent pics of his Oryx herd. Plus he has been in contact with local taxidermists and meat processors to help me with the "after the shot work". This means more to me then I can put into words as I am coming from Washington state and was more then a little worried about who to use and where to go. I realize that I will need to post a complete review after the hunt, but as of right now all I can say is the "service" end of Chalk Creek Exotics is spectacular. If the hunt is half as good as the service has been. then this will be a top notch experience.

Lab.... I was there in OCT after the same thing you are going for. I will tell you i enjoyed every minute of it. I was lucky as i got mine the same afternoon that i arrived so i didnt have to stay the night, though it would have been kinda nice to hang out with them a bit longer, either way it was a great hunt, great people and i been texting and talking to Mike about going back get another one. Exceptthis time id be bringing my bow! youll enjoy it!
