I plan on going. Has anybody ever bid on the hunts they have for auction? I'm going too, always do. I'll bid on an auction too, always do. I was the high bidder exactly once, and I had a great hunt. Like most, I'll be watching with envy the bidding for the Namibian black rhino hunt Saturday night. It will bring somewhere between a half-million and a million dollars, and every penny will be ploughed back into rhino conservation, as both the auctioneer and DSC will waive their usual auction fees. Now that's true wildlife conservation, the kind the "antis" always claim they do but somehow never achieve. If you've never been, you should go. Take your family. It's every hunter's wet dream. See the African and Alaskan outfitters. Talk to Larry Weishuhn and Craig Boddington. Ogle at the eye candy. Fondle a Holland double rifle. And even book the hunt of your dreams.

I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday. I've been volunteering at the silent auction for the past few years. I love it. I have done the salmon fishing trip with one of the outfitters in Sadoltna, AK, best trip I've been on yet.
DSCC is definitely worth stopping by. All the gun manufacturers are there, optics guys, etc etc, real similar to the NRA convention in Houston.
