I have a charbroil grill. 4 burner + the one on the side. Pretty much everything inside needs to be replaced. Also, some of the metal bottom pan is starting to get thin and wear out. Is it cost effective or should I just get a new one?

How is everything else? I've repaired mine a couple of times. If you can find it, install some 24 ( or close) gauge stainless steel over the main burners. I got some from a local Sheetmetal shop. Works great.

You can also line the bottom with regular carbon steel. Just fit it in pretty close and you won't need to weld it in place.

The rest of the grill looks great, just the inside has broken down after 4 years of pretty hard use.

Does the metal that secures (holds) the main burners in place still look solid? Once that portion starts to rust away, then it takes a good bit of work to repair.

Everything looks solid except for the grates, burners, the burner covers and maybe the bottom.

Im thinking once you replace the burners, grates, covers, add to the bottom you'll be over 1/2 to buying a new one

That's kind of my thinking as well.

Gut it out, use charcoal. Cheaper than gas and tastes better! grill
