Yeah they're on my place. The bigger bull is with the bigger herd of cows. This little guy just has a couple of cows.

I am to Aaron but if Wade is as kind as to post a picture of his pedistal mount I think it may change your mind and you will want a bull. Ive never seen a cow mounted but I wouldnt see why not. Im going to chase his big eland and a buffalo very soon and will find room for him to go on the wall even if I have to re-do the whole mancave.

Wow! Those are impressive. Are there and/many free roaming Eland?

Wow! Those are impressive. Are there and/many free roaming Eland? these are all on a high fenced 1050 acre pasture. Heavy cedar and oak. That said, fences are an "honor system" with eland. If they want on the other side they can get there. I lost 5 to my neighbors a couple of years ago when a "friend" hemmed them in an ally way so his friends could get pics.

The guys at Recordbuck ranch told us the same thing, they put some in a pen to move them to another pasture and when they went back later to load them up they all had jumped out and that pen had a 10' fence.

No BS the bull elk at my place that will be hunted this weekend jumped out of our place which is standard 8' tall when I was trying to dart him to cut some fence material off his horns. He showed back up inside the fence a week later and hasnt left again but im ready for him to be shot so I dont have to worry about that. My cows are all pretty tame and dont shy away from us too bad so they dont worry me. Some animals will suprise the heck out of you when it comes to there abilities.

Scared eland cows and young bulls can clear an 11' fence. The mature bulls don't waste effort jumping. They just walk right thru them.
Bull elk will do the same.

Had some inquiries about bow hunting these animals. I think my pic is a little deceptive. My eland don't pattern well at all. It may be 40 days before they show back up at that feeder. You are sure welcome to come try with a bow but it will be very hard and there'll be luck involved if you get one with a bow. And, my rules are if you wound an animal you pay for it.
