We shot two bucks and a doe this weekend.
Looks like the bucks are ready, but the does aren't there yet. Saw a couple buck checking but not chasing.
Buddy saw one younger buck chasing.

Maybe if the cold front gets everything into high gear you will be caughting the tail end of it.

I hunted this last weekend near Rochell(sp) saw plenty of deer, bucks checking but does were not ready. Noticed bucks were traveling alone and was not at the feeder long, just snacking for minute or two and on their way.

Hopefully they will come in while I am down there. We hunt near Rochelle as well. Have some camera pictures of some good ones but they have not showed up while we are there.

Good to hear it hasn't started there yet, but is getting close. I'll be making my first trip of the season this weekend. Between Placid and Rochelle.
