The Chateau - 0ur tower blind. Aussie blind - because it is "out back" behind the trailer. Sherman blind - because it is on the tank. Swamp blind - because my hunting buddy can't remember Okefenokee.

And meant to add that our locations seem to always be named after the geography or wildlife or something peculiar to the area. Sometimes it takes a few months or season to name them. Like Turkey Creek, when we set the stand, we saw it was a well traveled deer corridor, but for some reason the turkey loved to travel the creek bottom leadin up to it, so after a month of hunting it we coined it Turkey Creek. Those corn buzzards love that area. Saw 48 of them just this past weekend heading up the creek toward the feeder!

There is always a hangover blind also We always had a hangover stand. It was the one closest to camp, and generally killed the biggest deer out of it. We have a "cliff" stand, since the blind is high on the hill and it over looks a valley. We have the "pop up" blind, since you hunt out of a pop up blind. Our stands are not too complicated to name. At an old lease we had the "sh#t stand". One of the guys had 2 bowel "emergencies" while hunting there, and the name stuck.

Painted the roof of one with that latex/rubberized paint for mobile home roofs. The stand was brown.
You know that little white spot on top of chicken spit? That was what we named the stand.

Some are just numbers, some are the hunters name. This one was a previous hunters name until rancher moonscaped the area. Now it is The Darkside Of The Moon since little wildlife goes there now....

You name it after you know it. But most of ours are named after members.
A few of ours are;
TLC - first initials of family...until he had his second son, now it's TLCC. But TLC just flows off the tongue better, so that's how it's referred
Granny's (Bed & Breakfast) - Granny's blind...and the camp cook
I-10 - it's in the middle of the ranch and where we first noticed the most activity
Community Blind - one of the guys had a real nice blind built for his location and wouldn't stop talking about how awesome it was......so I spray painted "(ranch name) COMMUNITY BLIND" in big block letters on the front of it
Triple Shot - there was an unfortunate multi-shot miss incident there.....that's all I have to say about that

New group moved into my place and they only have one stand named now. They call it the "Money Maker" since I told them it was the best spot. They killed a 12 point and 10 point off the same stand this year, both were 150 class bucks with bow. Don't know if they will rename it next year or keep it the same. All I do know is that everyone fights for that stand!
