This is probably why that big boy hasn't been hunted! Wonder if it got down to contract time if he would let someone like myself slide in there and half price whack him!?!? Can't imagine him being real concerned about the animals he is leaving behind!

Walter has his own ranch down the HWY from the YO. So it will not effect what he does with his animals if the YO sells.

In my lifetime I have known a lot of big great ranches that have had to split because of family.

Until I got married I never really understood that, but honestly now that I see how people treat eachother within the family I can't see having my family on the same property.

Walter said he has a hunter that put a deposit down on the hunt. That hunter had to change dates and push the hunt back. I would think that with everything going on they could be having trouble matching schedules. I have a hunt scheduled with Walter in early October. We had a discussion in which I told him I was probably going to do it but I need to double check everyone's schedule. After confirming that the dates would work, it took five days to get back in contact with him, given the news it's understandable.

Any update on this ram????

I saw this ram last January when I hunted Walters place, definitely the real deal. If he hasn't been taken, I'd love to see how much he's grown over the last year.
