Where do you hunt in Lamar Co? I am a life long resident, just curious. I hunt in north west Red River co. abou 1 mile east of the county line from Lamar.

Hey j3x,

Sounds like you are pretty close to my place. I am a few miles south of the river and the county line is my west fence.

Or you on the same county road as the Red Bud Ranch?

No excuse needed. Thats a great buck. There's a ton of dudes that will come home empty handed this season and one of them wont be you. Congrats on your buck.

Been hunting Lamar for years! Trust me, that is a trophy for that area! Remember, east texas has no deer season so bucks like that are hard to come by! 13' or better rule ain't going to change it either. Not going to see any 12 point monster bucks around anytime soon!

Heat what area do you hunt? This deer is a lot smaller than ones I've taken out there in past years...
