Killed a 160# axis buck last weekend. Does anyone know if there is a taxidermist in the DFW area that can take my hide and make it a blanket? I know you can have rugs made, but I would like a nice blanket made.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know so much about the blanket.I have the tanned hide from one I had skull mounted. It wouldn't be nearly large enough for a blanket.I believe almost any taxidermist cad send one to get tanned but you must care for it untill then.

NTT in Denton is thumbs up / hands down the best and by far the cheapest place in area to get hides tanned. However, they just tan hides.

If you find a place, let me know - because I have 12-15 axis hides that I want some stuff made.
