For Christmas BM bought me one of these new cameras that send you a picture message to your phone every time it detects motion at your feeder. Well I couldnt wait and set it up Christmas day and have been impressed every since. The picture quality isnt up to par through the messaging system, but on the SD card its outstanding.

Either way the LO of the new place I am hunting, who I have been forwarding the pics to, wanted to sit in on a hog hunt. He only had tonight free, I wanted to stay at home and drink a few beers and relax and go tomorrow, but I decided to oblige and we went tonight.

We got into the blind about 6 and decided to chit chat, then about 6:20 my phone went off. Sure enough a little boar at the feeder. I was using an ND3x40. We are right at 100 yards out, but the neighbor up the road (around 1/4 mile away) was burning leaves all day and the smoke was just enough to make even the light cloudy. I could still see the pig but couldnt tell details. I waited for what I thought was a decent broad side shot, and let one fly.

Turned out to be a great night, except one of the cards in another TC fried. Dont know why, hopefully I can recover the images. We both cleaned it, then set around and just got to know each other. Family, faith, work, etc. He is a great man and I am in debt to him.

The good news is, he wants to buy the same game camera for the other feeder

Plus this came in minutes after we drug the pig off, lot of room for potential

Yes sir. Pretty neat for hunting pigs. Plus any time of the day I can send a command for it to send a pic.

I am doing it on a prepaid plan. I have to pay $.10 for one minute and its $20 for unlimited text. So basically 20 bucks a month, plus tax. There is a $10 activation fee. The only thing that worries me is that it can only send a maximum of 99 text a day, so if hogs are at your feeder all night, and if you have it set like me, to have a 2 min delay, that could fill up quick. But actually I havent had that problem yet.
