Was able to get to the lease and spend a few days hunting. I was after a 2yo spike a doe and some pigs. The spike must be part cat because I saw him twice and both times he left before getting a shot off. He is down to 7 lives now

I was able to shoot this boar Christmas eve but was unable to recover him. He was in the road and very skittish and couldn't get a clean shot before he bolted for the brush. I was able to hit him before he got there and heard him squeal and turn a complete 360 before going into the brush. I found no blood and followed his tracks for a ways finding hair in a couple of trees and limbs he ran into but didn't find any blood at all along the way or the pig. I later found out he was blind in his left eye which is why he probably was so skittish.

We are heading out tomorrow evening to spend 8 days out there.. Hoping for the big 10 and the Trophy Spike we have as my son calls him.. Our spikes do the same. I had 4 show up the last time we where there as i get the gun out the window turkeys start going at it all 4 haul butt out of there
