Very nice cabin! That cedar work is spectacular.

Super job on the cabin. Great view. Enjoy it and take it easy.

Thanks all it really is a neat place we love it. I find it amazing that no one has mentioned the cook stove in the pictures,I think it is one of the neatest things there. It is a 1930 roper gas range has cooking instructions inside the oven door. I love that old stove hope to get an old refrig also.

I saw it. cheers Great old stoves and loved the storage spaces on it. We still have one on the ranch. It has a lid for the 2 burner on left and separate lid for 2 burners on right. We also still have and old Ammonia absorption Servel Refrigerator That was originally Kerosene but had been converted to Butane. It was on standby in case we lost electric. It will even make fair amount of ice. It has to be around 65 years old and still works.

True craftsmanship! I know what you mean on calling it a lease. I haven't hunted on leased land in 13 years, but I still tell my wife I'm headed down to the lease.

well its been almost a year and we (My wife and I) who is my lease partner and hunting pal have spent a lot of time on our cabin. Were almost there and are proud to say we did almost all of the work our self. We have had a year never to forget and can now see the end in sight. That's awesome, I really like the inside and different wood colors.

I also really like that oven, where did you find something like that at?

I do see one other project that needs to be done though, you need yourself a pond down in that field below the corn feeder. Walk out the front door with a cup of coffee, the leaves turning color, deer at the feeder, ducks on the pond with steam rising off the water in that cool fall air....... sounds just about perfect.

Sounds just about perfect. If you look close in the second pic of the view you will see my pond not as big as I would like but its ok for now. We have catfish and there are usually wood ducks on the pond when you drive up to feed the fish. its 400 yds to the north. I would like to increase the size of it as a up coming project. Thanks for all your comments Buddy
