Can't beat them especially for the price. I've got two of them and they dropped right in. I'm a fan.
I don't smoke ,so I can't say but I highly doubt it. I do know a loud fart works! I think they like the smell plus I guess they think it's a buck grunt. _________________________

I liked the one I had. It was on a savage 270 with accutrigger and I still kick my self for trading that rifle away....

I'm quite the fan.

only complaint is the double swivel studs up front, i dont like the idea of the stud dragging on bags when shooting on the bench, fit and finish are top notch.

I have a few of em in Granbury. I may even have a spare one for a Howa/Wby that came as a spare on a gun I bought/sold. In Boyd right now and wont be back home till the 1st but would be glad to let you try it out.
As far as the guy who posted above me. Learn to shoot off a bipod even when you just go sight in. Once you learn it the Harris S-BRM's are better than bags, rest, etc. I have a very nice front benchrest from Sinclair that I haven't used in years in favor of the bipod rear bag. I don't ever have a bipod and sling on at the same time but at least the option is there I guess.

My brother has one on his Remington 700 ADL .280 and he loves it. He had to do a little work on his to get it to fit right but it wasn't a big deal.
