My parents came and visited from California for the holiday. My dad wanted to shoot a duck in Texas, so we snuck out this morning to a hole I enjoy hunting. I purposefully left my gun at home so he would have full disclosure on what to shoot. He only missed once, and picked good birds today.

Great limit for his first duck hunt in Texas

Lol!

Great hunt for your dad! Probly was or will be an expensive hunt either way.

Similar story here, took my Dad and son out hunting. We did well, teal, gadwall, and widgeon. Merry Christmas all!

Maybe he got the "not-used" discounted duck stamp?
